10 Changes I’m Making To My Life

Lately I’ve been wanting to make some changes in my life, mainly because I feel like I need to make some changes to my life. So much has been going on lately and I feel like for my own state of mind I need to do this, small changes in life can make the biggest differences in the world and I know that in the long term it will be better for me. So what small changes am I making now?

Yoga.

I used to do yoga twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening and lately I have been slacking and not even doing it once a day and I know how much of a difference it makes to me when I’m actually doing my yoga. Even some sun salutations, make a make the world of difference!

Use positive affirmations in the morning.

Sometimes I literally want to hide under the covers in the morning, mainly because life sucks sometimes, but having some positive words of wisdom, some things that keep my mind in focus, then it’s all better when we have a good start to a morning!

Taking time out

We all need time away,, like I said previously it has been a long time since I actually took time away from my blog, last weekend was the first time I took time away, so I think it is really important to take time away, focus on me, do things I want because it makes the world of difference to my writing.

Go on more walks/cycles

Last year my husband and I went on an amazing cycle ride, we took more walks, and took the camera, it was amazing and make such a difference to use, we loved every moment of it. Being out in nature is one of the best feelings in the world, so relaxing and such fun, especially being away from a computer!

Try to be tidier

I hate living in mess, I mean honestly, it is my worst nightmare, but when life gets busy and rushing around, putting things away where they’re supposed to be rather than saying I’ll do it tomorrow can be difficult. So instead I’m trying to tidy up more and more and when something needs doing, I try to do it straight away.

Be grateful

We live in a world where so much happens in such a short period of time, we forget to be grateful for everything we have. We sometimes focus on the negatives in our life we forget of the positive things, we are so lucky to have loving, kind, caring and honest people around us!

Be kind to others

Kindness doesn’t cost a thing, you have no idea what another person is going through! A smile towards someone just walking down the street an make the world of difference, if someone does something for you, don’t forget to show appreciation, forever be grateful to the people who try to do things for you.

Watch the sunrise more

Being able to watch the sun rise is one of the most beautiful things on the planet, all of those beautiful colours coming together in one sky, creating this beautiful masterpiece. It’s one of the greatest ways to wake up.

Focus on my mental health

My mental health is one of the most difficult things to battle, some days are good, some days are bad, but it is about taking the good with the bad, appreciating the good days and on the bad days reminding myself that bad days don’t last forever.

Stop pressuring myself so much

I literally put so much pressure on myself to do so much, I am my own worst enemy sometimes but I remind myself that I can achieve anything I want, but putting so much crushing pressure on myself won’t help at all. I need to believe that I can do anything I want.

I really hope doing some of these will help you to feel a bit better and more ‘yourself’. I really want to start being tidier too – I’ve been working way more shifts than usual recently, and my house has become an absolute tip. it’s making me so down and I really need to start sorting it

I am loving your list. I have been a little off my yoga sequence as well and i can tell a difference. I am trying to incorporate a lot of the same things you are. I can’t wait for it to get warm so i can get out and get fresh air.
