10 Things To Do On A Rainy Day

We are slowly moving our way into Spring, however the weather is absolutely horrendous lately, especially with the constant downpours, so when you’re stuck in doors and you can’t get out to do anything, what are we supposed to do? I’m honestly that person, when I can’t get out and do things I’m like, what can I do, I’m bored. I’m like a 5 year old who needs to be entertained! I’m such a pain, honestly, so what are some fool proof things that we can do when the weather is shocking & we need things to do?

Colouring in – It might sound silly but honestly it is really therapeutic and also it keeps me from getting bored. I really got back into colouring in when my best friend bought me a colouring book a couple of Christmas’s ago and I loved it so much!

Reading – I love reading as much as the next person and when you find a good book, it honestly is so hard to pull yourself away from a good book. I’ve been reading more and more lately and got lots of books which are currently sitting under my bed.

Bake – I love baking lots of good foods we all need cupcakes, cookies and everything else in our life and there are some easy and delicious recipes on my blog, are you looking for some easy recipes? Click here for some fabulous ones from me!

Play board games – I loved board games as a kid and it is something that my husband and I play a lot together, because it is one of the easiest and most fun things ever. There are lots of different games out there too!

Get out old photos – I love looking through old photos, especially being able to see my family there, seeing their smiles, it makes me feel a lot closer to them, especially when I’m missing them so much.

Laze with movies – One of the greatest things about rainy days is being able to curl up with a good movie, and have cuddles with my husband. It is actually one of the best feelings.

Tidy up & clear out – My husband and I are planning on doing this soon, because we need a serious clear out of everything, and I desperately need to do my clothes!

Practice photo taking – I have been practicing my photography for a while now, mainly because it was something I really enjoyed in my teen years and kind of want to get back into!

Redecorate – Nothing better than a fresh start and a clean slate, so giving your rooms a new lick of paint, a new colour scheme can brighten the place up and make everything feel better!

Pamper yourself – I love a good pamper session, especially if you’re stuck in the house, a good pamper session can lift your spirits!

What do you like to do when you’re stuck in the house? Leave your response in the comments!

I love these ideas! I love to bake and my partner and I frequently have board game nights, we even have friends over for board game nights too.

Colouring, board games, Netflix and reading are so high up on my rainy day to-dos. All with a cup of tea in hand of course, hehe! I’m always so demotivated to tidy and clear things out when the weather is rubbish, but I wish I found it easier
