Why We All Need A Day In Bed Sometimes

As most people will see from my twitter, I talk a lot about my bed, and my sheer love for it. I mean if I could I would spend all my time there. It is honestly one of the most comfortable places in the world, I am pretty sure I should have been a cat, especially in a previous life. However I do find that my bed is the most perfect place to chill, to relax and to pretty much eat my way through the most delicious food ever. So why do we all need a bed day sometimes?

We all need to relax sometimes – Relaxing is one of the most important things we can do for ourselves, mainly because our body honestly needs it, yet we don’t relax enough!

Our beds are our safe space – When we think of our bed it is the place where we love to crawl into at night, with nice comfy pyjamas on, clean sheets and soft fluffy pillows! It’s our safe space to just relax and appreciate our bed and contemplate our thoughts.

Good movies & good snacks – To have the perfect bed day you need good food and good movies. I mean I’m the kind of person that loves a good movie at the best of times, so it is important have a wide range picked (don’t forget a good Disney film – I recommend Beauty & The Beast as a rule.)

Surrounded by duvet’s and pillows – I love my pillows and duvets so much, I love being wrapped up in a cocoon of comfort, it’s the best feelings in the world!

Cute pyjama’s – I’m pretty sure that I have more pyjama’s than I actually have clothes and that is genuinely saying something baring mind I have a lot of clothes!

    As flu season has come around and I work with a lot of people, including children, I am preparing!!
    I’ve had a couple of bed days in the past week alone as I’ve been hit with a bug and it’s the best feeling!
    Grab some popcorn, get some juice, have everything within reaching distance and you’re set to go!

    Really really loving your blog by the way. Definitely one of my favourites that I have stumbled upon by chance.

    I loved this blogpost buddy! You write so well and engaging, you are just bound to get into it. So sad that it ended haha! But you are true, a day in bed is needed from time to time and I haven’t done that in ages. Might do it tomorrow or the day after.     I love duvet days, either actually in bed or snuggled up on the sofa. It’s a great way to relax and recharge.

    My bed is my favourite place ever ahah it’s cozy and comfy and ohh you are making me miss some good old bed days! I wish I had some time to spend like that, watching tv serious and eating snacks 🙂
