I’ve always been really lucky in my family because we have all cooked from a young age and we were all taught how to cook even simple dishes yet healthy, however SortedFood have shown that there is a massive gap in the knowledge of young people between 16 – 25 year olds. However I know that there is a massive gap in learning when it comes to cooking, especially with how easy it is to get precooked meals, but do you know what, cooking is so easy!
So I have taken the challenge with the Co-Op & SortedFood, I was sent a mystery box (that was all vegan friendly) and a recipe for me to make but I had to go and above is the delicious result. So how did I find the entire experience?
On SortedFood you get a tutorial, everything from how to deseed a pepper, to how to chop vegetables even the knife technique that you need to use to cut the veggies, it is all there for you to see and use. I’ve never seen such an in depth website to help you to learn to cook! Not only that it is like a one stop shop for all your how to needs.
With each recipe you get a video, this will give you the visual aids that you might need if it is easier than just reading certain instructions (they are below the video itself.)
I honestly found this recipe to be so delicious and not only that it was super quick to do! Cous cous is one of my favourite meals ever, mainly because it is so filling and really really healthy for you too so when I got this recipe I was literally in my element because I was so excited!
