It’s been a long old year right? And it is finally a fabulous time of year, to be with the people that we love and care about the most, and I think sometimes with the fast paced lives we have we genuinely forget to be thankful for everything that we have. We might not have everything that we want in our lives, but as long as we have everything that we need, surely at this time of year that is the most important thing ever? So what am I thankful for after this year?
We have been together 6 years next year, just sitting here feeling ridiculously old because I have been with him since I was 17. We have been through so much together over the last few years but do you know what I couldn’t have done it without him, he is one of the greatest people in the entire world.
I have some of the greatest people in my life who I am lucky enough to call my family, they genuinely mean the world to me. I have my wonderful mum & dad, step mum and dad, and grand parents, and I honestly don’t know what I would do without them, they’re my rocks. I am super lucky to have the most wonderful in laws in the world, they are 2 of the most understanding people in the world and genuinely so supportive which means everything to me.
Mia – My Cousin
Now I know I have already talked about family, but my little cousin is different, she is the closest thing I could ever get to a sibling and I love her like a sibling. She is one of the most beautiful, kind, caring, honest and supportive people I know and she literally makes me so proud, she has achieved so much and even though she is 13 I know she is going to go onto massive things in the future. I don’t see her enough, I wish I could see her more because I miss her so much, but the love I have for her grows more and more everyday.
I am so lucky to have a wonderful group of friends not only in real life, but in my blogging family too, these are the people who keep me strong, keep me going when things get tough, when I need someone the most, these are the ones that mean the world to me and I appreciate everything.
My little blog has come so far over the last year or so and I have had some of the greatest opportunities with some incredible companies and I am so grateful that people want to read my little blog, to the people who have helped me grow it, and to the people who have taken the time to comment on my posts!
What are you thankful for this year? Christmas isn’t just about receiving things, it is about appreciating what we already have.
