Bridget Jones’s Baby Book Review

bridget-joness-baby

Now I have loved Bridget Jones for years, she was the ultimate single woman but not only that she was someone that practically every woman on the planet could relate to. Whether it was the granny underwear or her love for ice cream, women all over the world loved her and we love her even more now! Now I was really skeptical about reading this book because in all honesty I am a bit of a sucker for a happy ending,  especially after the Edge Of Reason, so I was like am I really going to enjoy it, but I have been pleasantly surprised, so are you ready to find out more? Grab a cuppa and let’s get started.

Summary

Now if you’ve read Bridget Jones before or at least seen the films, you will know that Bridget has a sense of humor that knows no bounds, she is hilarious and witty and utterly cringe worthy at the best of times! By this point her relationships have changed, things are completely different in her love life but in some ways it is completely the same, with the love triangle between Mark Darcy & Daniel Cleaver still going strong, who will be the baby daddy?

Overall Thoughts

I actually finished this book really quickly, mainly because I absolutely adore Bridget, I find her sense of humor completely uplifting, but also she is someone who can honestly make you feel so much better! She is like your perfect fictional best friend!

The story line is quite strong, if you have watched and read the previous books then you will be able to get a sense of what is going on and you might have already decided who you really want to be Bridget’s baby daddy, I know personally that I had and I got what I wanted.

Don’t be fooled though, this book honestly put me through an emotional roller coaster because you think oh no are you kidding, why is this happening, you want the best for Bridget and the baby but honestly does it come? You will have to find out!

You can buy this book from Amazon for £6.00 here.

I’m going to be honest, I haven’t read any of the Bridget Jones series, but I thouroughly enjoyed the movies. Have you seen the movie for Bridget Jones Baby yet? If you did how did it compare to the book?
