Now a good cookbook never goes out of style, I mean let’s be honest it can be the making and the breaking of your book collection. Not only that when you find one that is vegan friendly, it makes my heart so damn happy. This one has quickly become one of my new favourites, and I’ve actually been attempting some of the recipes and it gets me back in the baking mode, so are you ready to find out what I thought of this cookbook?
If you’re looking at going raw, without refined sugar, gluten free, dairy free then this is the book for indulgent treats, everything from cakes, to tarts, to pies, cookies, pancakes & puddings, you name it, it is in this book! This book is split into a variety of different categories, which for me is absolutely perfect because that way I can drool over a variety of different types of food all in one book. Not only that there is a whole section about the benefits of certain foods, which honestly is an absolute blessing for me because I love to know everything about my food, I’m literally so nosy it is a joke!
The other fabulous thing about this book is the fact that even if you don’t have food intolerances, it is another way for you to enjoy the most wonderful sweet treats the healthy way, which is an added bonus right?
One of the most fabulous things about this book is the instructions are really really straight forward, you are able to follow them clearly, the ingredients are ones that will break the bank and the food is delicious! I mean if you’re a chocoholic (like me, not ashamed to say it) then this is honestly the book for you because you will love it! There are lots of incredible recipes for a resident chocoholic and everything you need to be in absolute paradise like I have been since I got this book.
This cookbook has honestly been one of the most inviting ones I’ve ever had, I mean that might sound strange but it literally feels like I’m having a conversation with Olivia over a cup of coffee, I mean it would never happen but that isn’t the point. Not only that she makes it a personal read to, it’s not just a cookbook it’s a definite labour of love from her and it definitely shows!
I’d definitely rate the book a 5/5, if you have a lot of food intolerances and you struggle to find treats that are dairy free, then this book is the perfect place to start!
