We all need a little pampering sometimes, it is good to take time for yourself but I think a pamper night is one of the best ways to just make you feel better all round! Once you’ve pampered yourself a little bit you just feel much more relaxed, you feel like you can take on the day a little bit more and the best bit about a pamper session for me is that I feel refreshed!
We all need it at some point right? Some time to chill out, put our favourite beauty products on,have a nice hot bath, catch up on our favourite programs on Netflix, sounds perfect right? That’s because it is!
Now I’m posting this on Monday because well, I’m a rebel & 2 because you might have had the most horrendous Monday going and you need some time t do something for you.
If today isn’t that day, that’s okay because there will be one of those days, so bookmark it, save it everywhere because this is how to have the perfect pamper night and feel fabulous afterwards.
1. Comfy clothes
You cannot, I repeat cannot beat comfy clothes. End of. There is no arguing this one! I personally adore clothes that are way too big for me, because I like them really baggy and 2 in thing I ever want is clingy clothes they make me feel super uncomfortable.
Tea is literally everything, there is nothing that makes me feel better than a good cuppa. In the evening though I tend to stick to chamomile tea because there is no way on this earth I want my sleep pattern interrupted. I’d end up being like Road Runner if I had my green tea.
3. Bath bombs
Oh I love a good bath bomb, watching them fizz when they’re in the bath is so therapeutic it’s crazy. Then you get all those pretty colours it’s like a unicorn just came into your bath and made it pretty.
I love to use a conditioner that needs to be on your hair for around minutes, simply because I find that my hair is much healthier for it and not only that it’s an excuse to chill out for a little while longer.
I love candles, especially ones that smell absolutely beautiful! It doesn’t matter how much you spend on them they’re candles, they are there to relax you when you need it the most.
I love watching TV in the bath, I find it’s so wonderful, if you don’t have Netflix, just stick a good movie or a box set on, the important thing is that you’re relaxing with something that you like!
Know that feeling when you get into bed after shaving your legs, and you have such silky legs it’s like heaven? Well then you need this step. Even if it is winter, I understand you like to keep your legs warm (I’m the same) but just buy massive bed socks!
8. Face masks
You cannot beat a good face mask, especially if it smells like a slice of heaven! When you take off the face mask though and your face feels so soft it’s like aaaaaaaaaahhhh bliss!
I have the most amazing moisturiser, it leaves my skin feeling so amazing (link here) and the smell, oh my gosh it’s beautiful. It reminds of someone literally crushing fresh fruit. The other wonderful thing is when your other half notices and they’re like oh you smell amazing. I feel like I’m winning at life at this point!
10. Leave that bra off
Set the boobies free! Honestly ladies you will feel my pain when your boobs are in the bra prison all day and when you set them free it’s like hallelujah.
11. Facial serum
I use my serum’s all day but particularly at night because that is when my skin needs it the most. I use this one from Skincere and my skin is so healthy since I started using it, it’s fantastic!
12. Night night
Sleep is so important when you’ve had a pamper night, because you need to remember your body needs it! Move that phone away from you, keep that tablet off, turn the TV off and drift off to sleep. Don’t let Twitter seduce you to come back from your slumber, stay asleep, don’t be tempted. Back away from that phone and tablet.
