How You Can Stay Inspired

How To Stay Inspired

Staying inspired can be incredibly difficult especially when there are so many bloggers out there, it can be difficult to stand out from the crowd so it is important to stay inspired as much as physically possible! Recently I’ve been working really hard to stay inspired and motivated to keep writing, however when things take like a tumble you end up looking everywhere wondering how in the world you can stay inspired to keep writing as much as you physically can! So honestly what do I do to make sure that I stay inspired at as much as physically possible?

It is important to remember that inspiration tends to come in a variety of different forms, sometimes it can be people, other times it can be situations, and sometimes it can just be things that have made an impact upon your life. Here are my top tips!

1. Talk to people

I have to admit when I speak to people within the blogging community, they honestly inspire me so much, it s like they’re contagious! They always inspire me to up my game whether it is my writing, my photography, even everything that I do in my daily life.

2. Stay active

Staying active is incredibly important because that way you’re able to keep things going and to keep on the writing train. Whether it is online writing the odd blog post, social media, anything to be honest just make sure you’re making your presence felt.

3. Read

Reading books is absolutely incredible, it is honestly one of my favourite things to do, especially because you can get some amazing inspiration from the characters. Whether it is certain characteristics or what is happening it can honestly inspire you to do anything.

4. Take time out

Taking time out is so important, if you don’t you end up getting so run down, it’s like you’re in a car and you’ve run out of petrol, you just are shattered by it all. Take some time to just be you, pamper yourself, do something on your bucket list, anything that could help reignite that spark of inspiration for you! I wrote a post all about it, check it out here!

5. Write a list of things you want to do today

This really really helps me, because in all honestly it keeps me motivated and when you have the list of things you want to do then you keep the inspiration flowing!

6. People watch

This is something that can really help me because you can just sit and watch the world go by, watch the world go about their day life, what they are doing while you sit there with your tea. It is just incredibly relaxing and you can just enjoy!

7. Surround yourself with inspiring people

Honestly when you’re around people who are just naturally creative it is a fantastic feeling. You are inspired by the way they create incredible things, maybe they are painting, photographing, it can honestly be anything, and it is still the most wonderful things ever.

What is something that keeps you inspired? Let me know your response in the comments!

Reading other blogs and taking part in twitter chats inspires me. It always gets me excited about blogging again and reminds me how amazing the community is and how much fun it is. Also if I’m lacking inspiration over what to write I find a new fitness class or workout to try ad then write about that (I have a fitness blog). Great post!

I love the twitter chats for that! I plan a lot of mine too, I have a book filled with ideas for when I don’t feel very inspired so I can write some posts for when I need it the most?

I found taking time out really helped improve my blog, things were getting a little stale and I just needed to take some time to think.

I’m the same darling, sometimes you need time away from the blog just to relax and do what is best for you. Sometimes we put way too much pressure on ourselves when it comes to blog writing!?

I’ve discovered that I’m one of those people who will go off the to-do list but go back and add the things that I did instead of some of the things ON the list. Kind of says, “No . I didn’t get this and this done but I DID do THIS!!”

Inspiration can be so hard to find and I also think that getting out of the house and being in the world helps me to think, and write, more creatively. I enjoyed reading this!

Reading other blogs, taking part in chats, Pinterest and making lists keeps me going but sometimes it really can get a little too overwhelming. When that happens I take a break and just have a crack on twitter for a while! Great post hun x

I have noticed that talking to people really inspires me – it can be in the bloggers community via twitter, but also IRL conversations are great. I like going to cafes and chatting with like-minded people (my friends 😀 ). The going out part is inspirational too because I need to put myself together, put on some make, make an effort.
