This rope is so easy to use, it is’t very heavy in my personal opinion add where I am quite short (I’m 5 fr 4 1/2 and yes the half is very important to me) it is very long, which is all honesty is no problem because it gives me more endurance and more rope to swing, so regardless of your height, you would be able to use it really well personally. It is really good to hold, it has protected handles which helps if you’re holding it and worried about getting sores on your hands, and it makes it all the more comfortable for you to workout with!

Is It Effective?

Most definitely, I have found that my endurance has improved, even shaving some time off my 5km but not only that, I feel like my stamina has improved so much, I mean honestly I feel like I have come so far just by doing this a few times a week! Not only that I feel like I have got stronger in terms of my arms because they are constantly going around my strength has improved so much!

I definitely think that it is value for money, this skipping rope is only £4.99, and is something that you can do regularly in your garden and if you have children even get them involved! It is an easy and fantastic workout to do in your every day life!

Overall Thoughts

I have found it improves my stamina, I have got quicker in my cycling but not only that it has challenged my entire body with a very different working in general. I think if you were to do this once a day over a period of time you would definitely start to notice the difference just like I have. It is easy to add into your every day life but not only that it is a very quick workout for your entire body! You can go as slow or as fast as you like which is the benefit of being in control.

    Funnily enough I was teaching my daughter to skip this weekend as she has a skipping race for sports day and was thinking it would be good to incorporate skipping into my weekly workouts! So many benefits to it as you have pointed out and interesting to hear you have noticed so much improvement in yourself. Fab post ?

    This is such a fab idea. I love going to the gym but some times there are just days where I can’t find the time to get there. This would be so handy to have in the house just to get a little fitness in on those days 🙂

      Exactly, it is a quick workout, it is effective but also it gets your heart rate up so much which is perfect and not only that it keeps you on your fitness goals!?
