ERiiS Sun Cream Review*

Winter Skincare

When it come to skincare, we all seem to forget that it is just as important in the winter as it is in the summer, I personally think the reason I forget to use things like sun cream is because it’s not summer when you would most. With the sunshine out more often and us all wanting to spend most of our time in the garden, or down the beach, or in the water, either way, we’re more likely to be outside! So when it comes to winter we all forget the effects that winter has on our skin, I know in terms of my own skin in the winter I have drier skin. This can be from things like the wind and freezing temperatures.

EriiS is a fully vegan company, so if you are going on a ski holiday, or you’re just looking for a brand new sun cream that will protect you from UVA, UVB and Infrared-A then this is the product that you’re looking for. Here are my thoughts when I tried out this product! Ready? Here goes!

Review

Scent

I have to admit the scent is quite fresh but not too over the top that it’s in your face, is it literally reminds me of summer, it smells absolutely divine. It is a very subtle smell and if you’re wearing very strong perfumes or aftershaves, then the scent of the sun protection will not clash with anything at all.

Texture

The texture fabulous, it isn’t too heavy which is surprising because I have found that sometimes when it comes to applying sun cream they can be quite thick and can leave you feeling sticky, but with this one it doesn’t happen! I also found that there wasn’t any oiliness from this sun screen which is something I definitely look for in a good sun screen. The other wonderful thing that I found about this product is it left me with this gorgeous sheen once the sun screen had been absorbed (which is did incredibly well) which I was ecstatic about.

Does it last?

I would definitely say that it lasts, it works incredibly well, and it gives such incredible protection and it protects my skin perfectly. Not only that when I worked out and I began to sweat, it didn’t seem to sweat out either which is an important thing to remember especially in the summer.

Value for money?

I definitely think it is value for money, the reason for this is because to cover a large area and get incredible coverage, I found you don’t need a lot. It spreads incredibly well on the skin. It soaks into your skin very well, it is transparent but not only that my skin still felt soft, and it hadn’t dried out in the sunshine or the wind.

Overall thoughts

Even though it might seem a little pricey at £16 I would totally recommend this to anyone and everyone. It is worth that little bit extra because it does so much for your skin, it leaves your skin feeling amazing, smelling amazing, no oil, but also you’re not left with that sticky feeling. I will definitely be buying this again because this is one of the best sun screens I’ve ever used!

ERiiS Sun is vegan and vegetarian friendly. In the formula there are not any animal derived ingredients. The ERiiS Sun range also has not been tested on animals.

My skin suffers so much in the winter, and I’ve been looking for something along the lines of this sun cream. Great post!

I reviewed this a while ago and found it to be fantastic! I used to use another vegan one but it was so thick my skin always used to break out but I’ve started using this as my main moisturiser, especially with a bit of Spring sunshine popping out of the clouds.

I totally agree, It is so helpful and I absolutely love the fact that it can double as a moisturiser. It works so well on my skin and it definitely stops me from breaking out!?

This is a brand I have never heard of before but I’m trying to be more cruelty free so I think I’ll look into this! Do you know of any other cruelty free brands? Lovely post and blog!

They’re so worth giving a go, they’re the best sun tan lotion I’ve ever used, but not only that it doesn’t eave that sun tan lotion residue! Green People are cruelty free and do a sun protection lotion!?
