The Saturday Post #9

creative-869200_1920

Hello lovelies, I hope you’ve had a wonderful week, I know I missed out a Saturday post last week, I was too shattered to even think, let alone write, so I decided to give last week a miss. However, this week, I’m back! Did you miss me because honestly I missed you.  Well I decided that I’ve give you a massive update so you know what is going on, but also share the love like I normally do because there is nothing that makes you smile more than making others feel appreciated it.

So this week has been ridiculously busy week, but there is nothing that I love more than a busy schedule to complete! It’s definitely a fantastic feeling. However the fabulous thing I adore is the fact that it was Shrove Tuesday, or as we call it, Pancake day! I love pancake day so much! It’s a fabulous excuse to go out and eat pancakes, and I have to admit, Paul and I do make some fantastic pancakes which will definitely make everyone jealous. (Yes they’re that delicious!)

If you didn’t see the pancake stack that I had then here is a photo from my Instagram so you can see all of the deliciousness that I had! They were so good.

Recently you might have seen that I am coming off some more of my medication for anxiety, depression and agoraphobia (check it out here) and honestly I haven’t been doing too badly! I’ve been taking it really well, I’ve been in a really good place, my mental health has actually improved which shows that I’m not feeling any ill effects of coming of the medication which is always a good start. I am definitely excited to come off medication.

I wasn’t around last week to do The Saturday Post I’m going to be doing the people of the week again, because I honestly love it, I feel so good showing people how much of an impact those people have on my life and how grateful I am!

People Of The Week

Claire aka Aloha Lola Cards – Claire is one of the most wonderful people in the world! She has been so there for me so much, and she has always made me smile so much, she is so talented with her drawings and she has previously done me a caricature, and honestly I fell completely in love with it and her work. Recently she has done some incredible quotes caricatures and I literally want to get some printed out.  She is so dedicated and incredibly talented with her work, I am so grateful that she is in my life. To check out her gorgeous work click here!

Kayleigh aka Very Berry Cosmo – Kayleigh is my berry queen, she is an absolute angel! She is one of my favourite YouTubers, but also she has one of the kindest hearts ever, she inspires me to be a better person, to be kinder, more caring but also to never give up. She has achieved so much and recently she has had such a rough time, but never forget that you can achieve anything that you want Kayleigh, you’re a strong, talented and beautiful lady who deserves the world and more. Check out Kayleigh’s incredible blog here.

Mica aka Mica Day – Mica is one of my favourite bloggers, she is my squad girl, and this week she hosted #cfbloggers and she did an absolutely incredible job, not only that if I ever have a question on veganism, or to try something different, she is the first person I go to. Mica = Vegan Guru! She is one of the most passionate people I’ve ever met, where she physically can she campaigns for animal rights and she did an absolutely incredible interview with an ex trainer from Sea World. I 100% recommend watching it and watching Black Fish because it will change your entire life. Check out Mica’s fantastic blog here.

Saira aka Through The Glitter Glass – Saira is an absolute sweetheart, she is always so supportive, so kind and caring, but not only that she is exactly what the blogging community needs. Her posts are absolutely incredible, the way she writes is fantastic, and her amazing personality always comes across. I know if I am having a bad day Saira will always pop up in my mentions and make me laugh so much. She is such a wonderful person and I’m so grateful to have her in my life.

Things I’m Looking Forward To This Week

Love the positivity in this post – your pancakes look amazing as well, I’m super jealous! Well done to you for coming off the medication. I’ve tried to come off mine so many times and it’s never worked so I’ve just accepted that I need them to keep the blue thoughts at bay. They help me be myself and that is OK. Good luck with your next steps and have a lovely weekend 🙂
