Happy Saturday everyone! I can’t believe that Paul went back to work this week, it’s been really quiet with me this week, which is strange because I got so used to waking up, rolling over and cuddling up with Paul, I’m definitely looking forward to doing this today. This week has been an incredible week not just for me, but for my blog too, as most of you can tell thecurvaceousvegan.com has had a little bit of a makeover all ready for 2016, and there is so much more to look forward to in the next year! The negative side of it is the fact that I’ve been called a lot of names, mainly because of my size, and usually it would really really hurt me but I didn’t want to give someone the benefit of the doubt.
I did post on twitter what was said because I honestly felt so alone and down I didn’t know what to do, and the blogging community has been so supportive I knew they would be there for me at a time when I needed them the most. This weekend is going to be a fun weekend simply because I’m looking forward to having a bit of a duvet day with Paul, baking lots of delicious food and seriously nailing my workouts!
An extra special shout out to my incredible Dad (miss you) who read my blog on Thursday night, saw the new layout, went through 68 pages worth on my blog, and read it all and told me he was proud of me. The fact he is up at 4am and doesn’t get in till like 7pm at night and he still took the time to read through my entire blog and see my new layout, I was so happy I cried. I don’t get to see him enough (not his fault or mine, unfortunately life happens, damn you life) but I hope to see him again soon. I’m such a sop but words can’t describe how much I miss my dad, he is one of my best friends and I know even when he is miles away he is always thinking about me & wondering if I’m okay. I love you Daddy. 💜
People & Posts Of The Week
Maxine Francis aka Chatterbox Max – I absolutely loved reading Maxine’s post about 2015 thoughts and 2016 resolutions. It is that time of year where we are all working hard on sticking to our new years resolutions but one of my favourite ones of Maxine’s was booking her wedding and Disneymoon for 2017, oh my gosh it is 100% worth it, if you can do it, work hard and save those pennies darling. It will be the best day of your life! To read Maxine’s fabulous post, please click here.
Kimberley aka Tea Is A Wish Your Heart Makes – As someone who absolutely adores everything Disney I have to admit reading Kimberley’s post has made me want to go back to Disney! I’ve been to both Florida and Paris and it is 2 of the best places in the world, I literally felt the same as Kimberley said she would the days before she actually goes. The most fabulous thing Kimberley’s post is that I can feel her excitement from her words! Definitely making me excited for you. To read Kimberley’s post please click here.
Jemma aka Jemma’s Simple Life – When I read Jemma’s post all about her anxiety, I was honestly crying my eyes out because I can relate so much to what she wrote. The way that Jemma wrote her post was absolutely incredible, and the photographs that she used were absolutely perfect! The other fabulous thing about Jemma’s post is the fact that she has addressed what anxiety is and been so open about her story, it’s inspiring! To read Jemma’s incredible post, please click here.
Ciara aka Ciara’s Little Corner – I am a huge lover of winter, it’s one of my favourite seasons, however when I read Ciara’s post it literally made me fall in love with winter all over again. I completely agree with so many of her points, I love curling up in my PJ’s I mean honestly is there anything better than putting on fresh and fluffy PJ’s? I do wish that we would have some snow or frost, it’s been so mild down here we haven’t actually had any 🙁 pretty please mother nature can we have some?
