As most of you know I am basically a vegan food fanatic, and I was privileged enough to have the opportunity to review for one of my favourite companies Clearspring. They have some of the most incredible food in the world and I have done many of their recipes in the past. The first meal that was cooked with the noodles I received was a stir-fry with some Fry’s chunky strips (talking more about them later) and so many veggies that it was practically a garden in my bowl.
There are lots of noodles underneath, I am just awkward when it comes to the photo! With the Fry’s thick cut chunky strips, they taste absolutely amazing, they can be added to any meal, and they last ages, they’re cook easy and honestly absolutely delicious. I was going to do tofu with this meal, but with the fab taste of the noodles, this was the perfect accompaniment.
- Brown Rice Noodles from Clearspring
- Fry’s Thick Cut Chunky Strips
- Clearspring Red Cabbage
- Frozen peas
- Bell peppers
- Cherry tomatoes
- A little sweet chilli sauce to taste
These noodles were absolutely beautiful, honestly, I have never enjoyed a meal more. They are so light, but not only that sometimes I find noodles can be quite stodgy or they can make you feel bloated, with these they were absolutely incredible, it was like I could have probably eaten it all over again.
At first I found the taste of the noodles quite strange as when I’ve had noodles before they’ve been quite dense, but with these ones they taste quite silky, and they just go down an absolute treat, 10/10 in the tasting stakes.
Ease of cooking
The noodles are pretty straight forward to cook, they are super quick, so if you’ve had a really long day then you can easily just let them cook away for 10 minutes, add them to a stir fry and hey presto you have a delicious, quick and nutritious dinner.
I will 100% be eating these again and I will be giving them:
